S\u00f3ller is a<\/span>town <\/span>in <\/span>the Balearic Islands,<\/span> located on the northwest coast of the island of Mallorca. It comprises seven population centres, which are S\u00f3ller, Puerto de S\u00f3ller, <\/span>L’Horta<\/span>, Biniaraix<\/span>, Es <\/span>Estiradors<\/span>, <\/span>Ses<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>Argiles<\/span> and <\/span>S’Alqueria<\/span> des Comte.<\/span> <\/span>And it is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The best way to enter is the wooden train that crosses mountains and beautiful landscapes, and reaches the center of the town. Then, p<\/span>Stroll<\/span> through its historic centre <\/span>and you will immediately feel<\/span> transported to other times. <\/span>This village has been inhabited<\/span>by such important people as the Archduke Ludwig Salvator <\/span>who claimed to be<\/span> the most beautiful on the island.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span> name S\u00f3ller<\/span> <\/span>comes from<\/span> <\/span> the Arabic<\/span> word<\/span> ‘suliar<\/span>‘, which means golden bowl, a very apt name to describe the fertile valley of orange trees that surrounds it.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In the architecture of this place, the works carried out by Joan <\/span>Rubid<\/span> stand out, a disciple of Gaud\u00ed, the Church of San Bartomeu and the bank of S\u00f3ller. The French-influenced palaces are also excellent.<\/span> And a visit to the Can Prunera<\/span> Art Nouveau Museum <\/span> and <\/span> <\/span> the Sa F\u00e0brica<\/span> de <\/span>Gelats<\/span> ice cream parlour <\/span> is a must<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
