The Sanctuary of Montserrat is a sacred place known to all Catalans, as the Virgin of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia. Called “La Moreneta”.<\/p>\n

Did you know that under the main square of Santa Mar\u00eda there is an art collection that can be enjoyed without waiting and with total peace of mind? You can see the collection of Impressionism, Modernism and contemporary artists.<\/p>\n

Like this painting by Caravaggio made without the “Foderato technique”, that is, keeping the original canvas; or the works of the famous modernist and Catalan artist such as Casas; Picasso, Dal\u00ed and T\u00e0pies, among others, and the children’s choir of “La Escolania de Montserrat”.<\/p>\n

We will also visit this recently restored Romanesque church, dating back to the 11th century “Santa Cecilia”, patron saint of music, located in one of the most beautiful places on the mountain of Montserrat.<\/p>\n
