It is a vibrant city, full of history, art, culture and gastronomy. If you visit, consider visiting some of these places and adapt them to your personalised plan.
Visiting the emblematic places such as the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, Retiro Park, Gran Vía, etc. And of course taking advantage of the enriching gastronomy of the city in its famous markets.
You can also organise a day trip to visit Segovia or Toledo, known as the “City of the Three Cultures” (Christian, Jewish and Muslim), Toledo is famous for its medieval old town and Segovia is known for its impressive Roman aqueduct, one of the best preserved in the world and a symbol of the city.

DAY TRIP FROM MADRID
Toledo
Distance: 30 minutes by train from Madrid.
What to see: Known as the “City of Three Cultures” (Christian, Jewish and Muslim), Toledo is famous for its medieval old town, the Gothic cathedral, the Synagogue of El Tránsito, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes and the Alcázar. It is also the perfect place to admire the art of El Greco.
Things to do: Stroll through its narrow cobbled streets, enjoy the views from the Mirador del Valle viewpoint and taste the typical marzipan.
Segovia
Distance: Approximately 1 hour by train.
What to see: The Roman Aqueduct, a masterpiece of ancient engineering, is one of the main attractions. In addition, there is the Alcázar of Segovia, which looks like something out of a fairy tale, and the Cathedral of Segovia.
What to do: Try roast suckling pig in one of the traditional restaurants and walk around the old town.
